I started my career in the corporate world, where I climbed my way up from cost estimator to President, where I ran out of rungs and there was nowhere else to go. I was running a $20 million dollar printing company, yet I still answered to a boss.

I knew there was something more than the corporate lifestyle, so in 2003, I started looking for a way out.  With the help of Robert Kiyosaki’s books and programs, I started building my business and accumulating my assets.

I took the leap in 2011, leaving the corporate world to become my own boss. A short time later, I partnered with Dan Kennedy on a book titled Marketing Miracles and I was featured in USA Today for my achievements.

Traffic was my biggest struggle in the early days of my career. I tried Facebook Ads, and Google Ads, and search engine optimization, but was never able to quite get the traffic I was looking for. Ads were costly and didn’t bring in the right traffic. SEO was a long-term game where the competition is fierce and results aren’t guaranteed.

From the beginning, my mentors emphasized that, when it comes to internet marketing, the money is in the list. Once I started building a list of leads and cultivating those relationships, I saw my business start to take off.
