GetResponse Vs Aweber – which one is the best email marketing solution for your business? What are the perks and advantages of using either of the duos? How can you maximize these products to give your business the right boost and visibility?

By the end of this post, not only will you have all your questions answered, but you will also have a brighter picture of what each product does and which one will be best suitable for your business.

The truth is, there are also quite a number of online advertising media. Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, Google Ads, name them. These are popular platforms where you can launch your ad campaigns and show your products to the world.

But then, Email marketing has also proven to be one of the most efficient ways to generate leads and get conversions, especially through solo Ads. So if you are looking for an organic way to build your list and get your products to those who should really be seeing it, then you should try solo Ads. They are swift, pocket-friendly, and efficient.

Hence, today, we shall discuss two email marketing solutions – GetResponse and Aweber, and how you can use either of them to get the best results for your email marketing campaigns.

Before we make a detailed comparison of these two email marketing tools, let’s begin with what they do.

GetResponse and Aweber are tools for:

  • Creating stunning email templates
  • Sending e-newsletters to your subscribers
  • Communicating your messages to your subscribers through autoresponders
  • Hosting a mail list

That’s not all, actually. You can also explore and do much more exciting things with the products. Now that you have known what they are used for, let’s delve right into the differences between the two as regarding:

  • Pricing
  • Usability
  • Key features
  • Template features
  • Pros and cons

1. GetResponse Vs Aweber Pricing

GetResponse pricing:

Apart from the available free trial that lets you use the app for free for 30 days( for up to 1,000 subscribers), GetResponse has four paid plans:

Basic: This is their cheapest plan and starters’ pack. This costs $15 per month and lets you send an unlimited number of emails to your list (up to 1000 subscribers).

Plus: The plus package starts at $49 per month and lets you send emails to up to 1000 subscribers.

Pro: The Pro package begins at $99 per month and allows you to send unlimited emails to up to 1000 subscribers.

Max: The max package comes with no fixed price. It’s negotiable.

The major difference in these packages is the addition of extra features like landing pages, e-commerce, and webinars. These features are unlocked depending on which plan you subscribed for and how much you are willing to pay.

Aweber Pricing

Basically, there are two Aweber’s plans to choose from. It’s either you choose the “Aweber free” or “Aweber Pro” plan.

Aweber free plan lets you access the product free of charge without paying. However, that’s technically speaking. It isn’t completely free, not for users with up to 500 users and above. If you have below 500 subscribers on your mailing list, then you can access the $0 plan without paying a dime. But here comes the con, right handy and ready- you have to deal with the frustration that comes with the interruptions of Aweber adverts popping up every now and then.

Then again, there’s is the “Aweber Pro” plan for people with a larger audience and are willing to part with a few wads of dollars to maximize and unlock the full functionality of the app. Here’s what the Aweber Pro plan pricing looks like:

Up to 500 subscribers:

$19.99 per month

501-2500 subscribers

$29.99 per month

$49.99 per month

$59.99 per month

$149.99 per month

More than 25000 subscribers

You need a quote from the Aweber team to determine the monthly cost.

Discounted plans are also available for non-profits (3 months free, 25% off after that) and students (20% off) too.

When comparing the pricing of both, Aweber seems to come pricier than GetResponse. If we should compare the overall pricing structure, GetResponse offers are pocket-friendly and inexpensive. If you are on a budget, GetResponse may be a cost-effective solution for you.

However, when choosing a marketing product for your business, cost shouldn’t be the only determining factor at the center. You also want to consider other essential elements like features and functionality. So, let’s compare the features.

2. GetResponse and Aweber features

There are similar vital features that you will find in both products. Here are some of them:

  • The ability to secure data and host mailing lists
  • Autoresponder functionality
  • A wide array of pre-designed e-newsletter templates
  • Meddling with third-party tools (for example, e-commerce apps or CRM services)
  • Statistics and analytics of subscribers’ activities on your emails, clicking links, or unsubscribing
  • Message builders that permit you to create and edit e-newsletters

These are all similar features and functions that they both share.

But there are also other features that are exclusive to GetResponse. See them:

  • Webinar
  • Push notifications
  • A website builder
  • ‘Conversion Funnels’
  • Live chat functionality

One more time, we can give it to the GetResponse team for providing a wide array of features that help users maximize their options and use of their products.

3. Template Features

There are quite a number of impressive e-newsletter templates available on both GetResponse and Aweber. In addition, you get to choose from a wide array of design templates that suit your needs and fit your demands.

But if we should make a comparison, Aweber seems to be doing better than GetResponse in this aspect. Even though, GetResponse’s template designs appear more modern and attractive than Aweber’s, managing to be just above 100, while Aweber offers up to 700 available templates that their users can choose from.

Ultimately, these two products offer valuable and relevant tools that help you advertise seamlessly, communicate effectively and maintain your subscribers’ database like a pro. It makes it comfortable for you to track your virtual progress and also improve communication and branding. However, both products have features that make them desirable and preferable. But if we are to go by overall performance in terms of all the criteria, we considered, GetResponse seems to be a better option.
